Classical countenance, signed on reverse WM,  12  3/4" H.

Aldie Mansion - Home to William & Martha Mercer, Doylestown, Bucks County, PA.  These items survive to us through a family who, one generation prior, worked as domestics for Mr. & Mrs. Mercer.  At the home's closing, they were allowed to purchase objects as keepsakes.
